Anneliese Louise van der Pol (born in the Netherlands) is an American actor and singer. Her most well-known roles include actor in the theatre and also as Chelsea Daniels from the Disney Channel's That's So Raven. Anneliese van der Pol has an ethnic Dutch origin she is an American actress and performer best known for recurring roles on the television program That's So Raven. Her appearances were in 14 distinct projects that included TV shorts and videos. She performed her musical in in nearly 15 TV series. Some of her most notable roles include Shalom Sesame Divorce. Van der Pol is also a professional singer who has recorded songs in collaboration with The Walt Disney Company. Her Broadway debut took place in 2007, and she appeared Off Broadway in the year 2009. The vampire spoof of 2010 Vampires Suck, directed by Jason Friedberg Aaron Seltzer featured the actress in the leading role. In 2003 van der Pol landed one of her earliest television roles as the ditzy Chelsea Daniels in the Disney Channel Original Series That's So Raven as Raven-Symone Orange Brown and Kyle Massey. Chelsea Daniels has remained one of Van der Pols most well-known roles for adults and teenagers. She was awarded with high praise for her ability in portraying an outgoing and somewhat dim-witted character which many initially believed was impossible due to her more serious roles earlier in her career. The actress had a role as a guest in Kim Possible as Heather. It was her first ever voice role. In the year 2011, van der Pol guest played Ronnie, in Disney Channel Original Shake It Up. for Walt Disney Records van der Pol is known for recording various songs, including her song from the That's So Raven soundtrack theme. The song was also co-written by her the song along with Raven Symone & Orlando Brown. She also recorded Over It for the soundtrack of the Disney Channel Original Movie Stuck in the Suburbs. Van der Pol performed pop/R&B renditions for The Lion King Circle of Life as well as Cinderella The Dream Is a Wish My Heart Makes as part of The Disney Channel Circle of Stars. In 2006 she recorded a cover version of the timeless Disney track Candle on the Water from Pete's Dragon for an edition of Disneymania. In her role on Broadway, as Belle van der Pol recorded various songs featured on the musical's score, including the iconic A Change in Me.
