Rene Marie Russo, an American actress and filmmaker who was once a supermodel is now a film director. Alongside her stunning beauty, her continued success in the highly competitive world of film can be attributed to her talents as a performer. The career of her was launched as a model for fashion in 1970, then she rose quickly to the top of the heap. From the 80s onwards, she began taking classes in acting and theater before performing on the stages in Los Angeles. In 1987, Russo was the lead character Eden Kendell on ABC's show Sable. Rose Namajunas was one of UFC's top female athletes. Her journey began as an amateur, fighting in different regional promotions. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her up and she later signed up for Ultimate Fighting Championships. After joining the UFC She has become a household name due to her accomplishments both inside and outside of the Octagon. Namajunas is an Lithuanian born American, who was born June 29th 1991 at Milwaukee Wisconsin. Rose played basketball and kickboxing while growing up. She made her debut in professional competition aged 18 in the Invicta Fighting Championships in which she won two fights via submission. Dana White noticed this and when she was in December 2014 aged 22 she signed her to fight as a strawweight for UFC. Rose has experienced extremes and lows throughout her career. She has always been a winner. Rose fought Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout in under three minutes the round One. Rose was also named Fighter Of The Night and was a pioneer in the sport as it marked the first time a women had ever competed at a championship level with a major promoter worldwide. Namajunas won several fights following this fight and received the title of Performance Of The Night by UFC after her wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
